Emecon Controls was established in 1987 by the name and style of Engineering and Marketing Enterprises to service Process Control Instrumentation market in northern part of India operated from C-20 Gulmohar Park, New Delhi. After a short period of time focusing the indigenously manufactured product line, entered into an agreement with M/s. Lasser & Co, a German manufacturer of niche product in level and pressure range of instrumentation for the geographical area of India.
