Introduction
Since the publication of the AGA Report No. 9 in 1998, multipath ultrasonic flow meters have become the dominant method for measuring flow in large pipelines, particularly for the purpose of custody transfer of natural gas. There are many reasons for this trend – excellent measurement accuracy, high turndown, good resistance to installation effects, and cost effectiveness.
